Description
Offered today is an antique early 1900s solid 10k gold (not quite yellow gold, not quite rose gold--but the color you see with antique patina--kind of in between) cameo ring.  This ring is interesting because it seems to be a woman's ring, but the cameo depicts the "Roman soldier or warrior" with helmet and beard often seen on men's rings.  Could be quite the conversation piece.
The cameo, we believe to be black molded glass that looks like onyx.  It's bezel-set with openings at the sides.  The shoulders are detailed with milgrained "X" in this simplistic style mounting.
The face of the ring measures 5/8" top to bottom. The ring is hallmarked 10k with a maker's mark of a raised star. It weighs 2.9 grams, is a size 5 and is in good vintage condition.  It can be sized by any competent jeweler.
