Description
The price of this item is OBO, as I am basing the price on the typical resale value of high-end projectors (based on original price). I WILL TAKE OFFERS, and will accept any reasonable offer that is supported by recent pricing trends. This is a Sony SRX-T110 4k Video Projector with 11,000 lumens. This is a high-end projector that originally sold for 0,000+ not including bulbs or lens.
**I have TWO of these - they look virtually identical, and worked side-by-side in the same location. So, I did not take separate photos for purposes of the auction. I will be happy to make more photos of whichever unit you'd be interested in (including "under the hood" and anything else you'd like). These are listed separately because (1) they are high-ticket items, (2) there are specific differences in the operation/condition of each item, (3) They have different prices.**
This projector appears to be in great physical shape. It lived in a climate-controlled, clean projection room it's entire life. Owned by a multi-Billion dollar company and used to project onto a video wall in a very high-tech showroom. Always operated by highly trained A/V people. I talked to the manager of the facility and he says it was installed in approx June 2012 and was used for about 5-7 hours per week until it was taken out of service in mid 2015.
The projector powers up and goes through all the startup items. Once turned on, there is an error LAMP_A IGNITION FAILURE (you can hear the lamp attempting to turn on, there's a few clicks, and then the error). According to the User Manual, the fix for this is to Replace Lamp (in other words, it appears the lamp is burned out. There IS light coming out of the unit, which leads me to believe that LAMP_B is functional, however I've reflected the cost of TWO replacement lamps in the cost of this unit, and any price negotiation will include either (2 new bulbs, which I have listed here on eBay), or (a price to reflect your need to purchase 2 new bulbs)
Lens appears flawless, no scratches or etc.
I do not have a controller or anything to input into it, so I was unable to project an image or any menus. I do not know how many hours it has been used, but assuming 300 hours/year (based on the info given to me) and 3 years of service, it's probably right around 900 hours. This is ONLY AN ESTIMATE. It could have a lot more, or a lot less, hours.
If you are considering buying this item, you probably know a lot more about it than I do, so you are welcome to contact me and I can take further photos, maybe you can help me get it to actually project, so I can see a menu and give you more information on hours, etc., and see a sample image....
This will come with the custom cart, with wheels and legs that extend to firmly support the projector. The cart also has built-in fans (see photo) to help with cooling. I do not know how these fans were powered, but I'm sure anyone with some electrical knowledge could get them spinning fairly easily.
This is obviously a high-ticket item and I would expect that any potential buyer would contact me through eBay's system, so we can talk directly, before any final price is decided upon.
Depending on final agreed-upon price, I will likely HAND DELIVER this item to you (a deposit will be required, with balance in certified funds upon delivery). Cost of delivery can be negotiated in the selling price.
