Presented for your consideration is this hard to find book titled "Riverside Glass Works of Wellsburg, West Virginia." The book was written by C.W. Gorham and covers Riverside glass dating from 1879 to 1907. The 258 page book is an identification guide book and gives a history of the pattern glass pieces that were manufactured by the Riverside Glass Works of Wellsburg, West Virginia. Numerous black and white pictures of Riverside glassware are throughout the book and copies of original advertisements are also scattered throughout the book. About 10 pages in the center of the book are printed in color while the rest of the book is printed in black and white. Some of the specific pieces pictured in the book are: oil lamps, cake plates, compotes, syrup pitchers, bowls, creamers, covered dishes, and toothpick holders. All pages are complete and intact. Pages are free of damage. The cover is soft bound with a comb binding. Binding is tight. This rare book would make a great addition to any identification guide book collection or great to use!
One prong on the comb binding has the tip broken off. Very light edge wear is on the cover. Overall in EXCELLENT condition. Please refer to the photos for the absolute best details.
