    Ex Libris -
    PARKE E. SIMMONS
    - We don't know much about Parke Simmons but
    we think he was from Evanston, IL. His b/p is by
    Edw D. French (who died in 1906)
    - you can see French's initials at the
    lower center
    - from that time period certainly before 1915. Parke's library was sold at auction in 1937, He had a great collection. You can have his b/p!
    French, after his death, some of his work was completed by A. J. Brown - about
    whom we know only his initials and the fact that he worked on/or for French. Thus
    Simmons' b/p could have been finished in the 19 teens
    No glue residue.
