ABOUT:
Awesome chunky signet / statement ring in 14k gold with an octagon face designed with a moon and a star in an oval.  I'm not sure when this was made, it was clearly worn over years and has some age to it but I can't say for sure when.  Perhaps double check the photos and see what you think ; )
I acquired this in Europe, as such it is marked 585 to signify 14k gold.
It is a heavy piece, weighing 11.2 grams. A nice sturdy piece with good quality and interesting design.
It was clearly worn but it is still a Beautiful ring, and would make a great statement.  It is rounded inside, makes it comfortable to wear.
SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:
Currently a size 9 on my ring sizer mandrel, although I think these wider band rings tend to fit more snugly.  Appears to be sizable. The face of the signet is about 15mm by 13mm. Weight is 11.2 grams.
HALLMARKS:
Marked 585 for 14k gold.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
This estate piece was enjoyed by its previous owner.  There is surface wear and scratches and nicks especially on the sides, made more noticeable by the highly reflective, mirrored finish of the shiny gold. With normal wear it looks nice but if you study the surface in a reflection, you can see the scuffs and scratches.  There are some scuffs around the raised face of the signet as well rom wear. I tried to capture it both ways in the photo.
