I am pleased to offer  this  one of a kind historicaly important antique Imperial Russian Faberge silver-topped 18k solid gold & Diamonds ring c1911, belonged to Grand Duchess Olga Konstantinovna of Russia.
The ring comes from her family estate based in Greece during 1920's.
The ring has been sold in Athens in 1997 at auction to the collector Mr.Vasilis Kyryakus.
The ring is decorated with an amazing 2.5ct  old Rose cut Diamonds.
A lot of sparkles.
The sparkle of old cut diamonds is deeper and warmer, almost glowing in a way that draws the eye into the stone instead of bouncing the light back out. This makes old cut diamonds star performers in candlelight and other low light settings.
The ring is signed with the Imperial Russian 72 hallmark for 18k gold with the letter Alfa for St.Petersburg assay office used between 1906-1917,and with KF hallmark in Russian for Carl Faberge.
It comes with the original luxury morocco leather presentation box,decorated with gold binding of the Imperial Russian double headed eagle coat of arms on the top. Inside is signed in Russian "K.Faberge,St.Petersburg,Moscow,Odessa.
The ring is engraved in Russian "Na Pamyat Olgy,1911" (in memory to Olga,1911).
