    Ideal Baby Doll with Box, Snoozie 1950
    I think that this molded-face vinyl of the very early 1950s is a "Snoozie." This Ideal baby doll’s expression appears to be more of a wail than a snooze.   Her vinyl face is scrunched up, with open mouth and pudgy cheeks. She has vinyl arms and legs, and a soft body.
    The body’s white cloth is stained.
    She wears a vintage pink-rosebud dress trimmed with lace and puffed sleeves. For a bit of whimsey, a chenille cape is thrown over her shoulders. 15”.
