From January 10 - February 22, 2004 park guests took part in a once-in-a-lifetime tribute to Mickey Mouse as they got to see and enjoy the works of 75 actors, musicians, animators, athletes and Disney legends who each designed a six foot tall 700-pound statue that was a unique interpretation of what Mickey means to them.
This display at Disney's California Adventure was part of a nation wide tour that was sponsored by Coca-Cola.
When the culmination of the tour was completed all 75 statues were auctioned off with the proceeds going to charities chosen by each artist.
