This distinctive antique platinum band is lined in yellow gold, set with six European cut diamonds, embossed with orange blossoms and engraved details.  We have left the engraved initials inside as a testament to its romantic history and origins.  In the early days of fine white metal jewelry, platinum and white gold pieces were backed or lined in traditional yellow gold to demonstrate to the buyer that despite the new and exotic color it was still fine jewelry of quality.  There is a slight break in the pattern where the size has been adjusted, but it was carefully engraved to blend together so its only noticeable with magnification and if you are looking for it, see extra images above.
