During Sam McKim's 32 year career with Walt Disney Imagineering just about every land at Disneyland benefited from Sam’s magic touch.
He contributed sketches for Main Street, Frontierland, The Monorail, Great Moments With Mr. Lincoln, It’s a Small World, Carousel of Progress and The Haunted Mansion.
Sam McKim also created the first souvenir maps of Disneyland starting in 1958.
Sam McKim retired in 1987. He was named a Disney Legend in 1996. That same year he was honored with a Window on Main Street.
