    Original Outfit
    1930’s vintage Fanny Brice (Baby Snooks) character doll by IDEAL.
    She stands about 12". Has a composition head with sculpted hair and painted facial features including a loop on head that holds her a ribbon bow, a wooden segmented body, black painted wooden feet, composition hands.
    Doll is a “flexy” doll with wire mesh flexible limbs and stands on her own.
    She was designed by Joseph Kallus.
    She is wearing her original outfit.
    Marked "Ideal Doll".   Fanny Brice was a Hollywood and radio star, she started out in the Ziegfield Follies from 1911 to 1923 and various films in the 1930s and as Baby Snooks in the1940s radio show. This doll represents her
    as her Baby Snooks character.
    Condition:
    Generally fair condition.
    It is priced according to condition.
    There is some cracking, peeling and paint loss to the head especially back and sides (see photos).
    Her face is in reasonably good condition considering.
    Her outfit is a worn, has age related discolor, a few of small holes and her hair bow is tattered.
