    Description

This sale is for 1808 Reproduction leather shoulder belt and 1819 plate.
Made by Stewart Historic Saddlery of Ash Fork, AZ. out of Herman Oak Leather. Completely hand sewn with linen thread 7 stitches per inch. Iron Died Black.
Please note the unusual stitching pattern on the back of the hanger particular to US Shoulder Belts.
I've had this item cut out with its US plate sitting in a plastic bag, waiting to be made since 1999. I went to work for a State Historical Society site and was busy making copies of equipments used by staff and volunteers at the "Fort". No hole has been made in the hanger. The buyer must do that to accommodate the different bayonet/edged weapon that will be used.
My shop stamp is located inside the hanger, out of plain view.
1816 Musket is not part of this sale, duh.
